The private rented sector in Leeds has changed considerably over the past 10 years with the boom in City Living.  Thousands more people are now living in LS1 than ever before and Leeds has become one of the most vibrant cities in the UK with an explosion of business, new accomodation, bars and restaurants. The so called 'Credit Crunch'  has only made it more difficult for residents to get on the property ladder and more and more professional people are now renting long term rather than buying.

GO Letting Agents in Leeds specialise in renting quality properties quickly. We know the area like the back of our hand and  have been working in Professional Lettings for over 10 years. Amongst our clients in Leeds & Nottingham we have developed a reputation for getting the job done properly with the minimum of fuss.

Property Management

Having been on the receiving end of Average Estates Agents plc we operate a slightly different system from the Agency norm in that we have Property Managers that look after our properties from advertising right through the letting cycle.  Our PM's as we call them, will initially meet the landlord, then write the property ad, take the photographs, list it, conduct viewings, reference the tenants, agree renewals, conduct inspections, and manage repairs, they're the landlords and tenants principal point of contact and they know everything that is going on about the property. They aren't just locked away in a damp basement and let out for good behaviour every 6 months. The role is challenging but varied and satisfying and our PM's enjoy what they do (most of the time!) so they stay with us.

Continuity

One of the big challenges for Letting Agencies is continuity and keeping the right arm aware of what the left arm is doing. We find our system, albeit more expensive to run, pays us back in spades by keeping our landlords and tenants happy. We aren't saying that we're perfect, but we try our damned hardest to be.

Training

All the Property Managers at GO Lettings Nottingham are ARLA or NAEA trained. We think it important that our clients people are armed with the knowledge needed to do their job properly so we train them properly at the outset and then hold regular workshops to brush up on new legislation and updated practices. We manage hundreds of millions of pounds worth of property for our clients so we want our people equipped accordingly.

Established in 2003 as Lettings Direct UK Ltd, Lettings direct.co.uk opened initially in Nottingham before opening our Leeds in 2007. In 2009 the company changed it's name to GO Property Services Ltd to reflect an expansion into Home Sales at our Nottingham Head Office.  We don't currently offer Home Sales in Leeds but we intend to in the near future.

Feedback

Since 2003 we have held regular client surveys to keep a check on how we are performing. We always encourage feedback from all of our clients to allow us to improve our operation. We will only continue to grow by doing things well, and we need client feedback to make sure we are acheiving this.

GO Property Services are affiliated to The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA),  and the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) who are working to promote professionalism within the industry. It is a prerequisite of both organisations that we abide by their code of practice. We are also registered with the  Property Ombudsman (TPO) and our deposits are registered at great expense with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS)
